If your priority is sun protection with airflow, ask about knitted HDPE shade fabric. If you need rain protection too, discuss a waterproof membrane option and how the canopy will direct runoff away from entrances and walkways.
Ask for the proposed fabric specification, steel finish, and warranty terms in writing. If you manage a property with several parking rows, check how the fabric panels can be accessed and replaced when maintenance is due.
Compare quotations on the same scope
Two quotations for the same number of parking bays can cover different work. Before choosing a supplier, check whether each price includes design drawings, steel fabrication, the specified finish, fabric, delivery, and installation. Confirm who is responsible for foundations, civil works, and any required approvals. If the parking area will stay open during the project, ask how installation can be phased around occupied bays.
